This is a simple, plain-English summary of how I handle your information.

Who's responsible for your data

herdtech.io is the trading name of HERDTECH.IO LTD, registered in England and Wales under company number 17395623, with its registered office at 39 Eustace Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 5BT. The company is the data controller for anything you send through this site. I'm Alex Herd, and I run it — so in practice you're dealing with me either way.

If you want to ask about your data, or have me delete it, send a note through the contact form and it comes straight to me.

What the contact form collects

The contact form asks for your name and email address, and optionally your company, the team the work is for, the tools involved, a rough budget or project size, your preferred contact method, and a short message describing what you'd like to automate.

How it's sent and used

When you submit the form, the details are sent directly to a private automation endpoint I run (an n8n webhook), which forwards your enquiry to me. I use what you send only to reply to your enquiry and to discuss potential work. I don't sell it or share it with third parties, and the form doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies.

How long it's kept

I keep enquiries only as long as needed to deal with your request and any resulting work, then delete them.

Your choices

You can ask me to delete any information you've sent at any time — just send a note through the contact form and I'll remove it.

Analytics & cookies

This site doesn't set tracking cookies or run third-party analytics. Fonts and assets are served from the site itself, not external CDNs.
